Hello! My name is Stephanie Nielsen and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience in the mental health and social work fields. I am a mental health clinician with a lot of different passions, and one thing that I am most passionate about is supporting other people. Mental health is fragile and requires an artistic balance of sorts to care for it. One of my favorite quotes from Brene Brown which highlights this balance is, "Don't shrink. Don't puff up. Just stand your sacred ground." My sincere hope is to support and empower my clients in finding the balance they need to move forward towards their life pursuits.
My experience is in abuse/trauma, grief/loss, complex family systems, anxiety and depression, religious transitions, LGBTQ+ dynamics, and mindfulness/spirituality. With that being stated, there are many other aspects of life that I can be a support in due to my wide variety of professional experience. Please reach out if you are ready to find the balance that you are looking for. Best wishes!

Stephanie listens very well and distills what I say into easily digestable pieces so that I can work through them.

Stephanie is incredible. She listens and knows how to help me see what's really going on with me. She is so kind and soft spoken that it really helps me open up about my trauma knowing that I can trust her.

Stephanie always provides a comfortable space for me to let out suppressed emotions and feel heard. She is a great listener and provides wonderful insights to my seemingly huge problems. I first was skeptical about going to therapy, now I look forward to talking with her every week!
