I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Arkansas. I have worked primarily in the mental health field for the past 4 years. I received my Bachelors and Masters degree from Arkansas State University. I have worked with clients from all ages; from young adults to geriatrics. After completing my internship with a local mental health provider I was hired by them. I specialize in anxiety, depression, anger, and grief and loss. My treatment approach begins with building a positive therapeutic rapport and starting where the client feels comfortable. Theories that I may use during treatment include Strengths Perspective, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness. I enjoy watching others learn and use tools to feel confident and autonomous in their lives. I consider it an honor to help people in their time of need. I look forward to working with you!

Stephanie Sweat is a great therapist and has been a big supporter in helping me deal with external and interpersonal problems. She listens to me and makes me feel respected and heard. In fact she is the only therapist I've stuck with this far over the years of trying to find a therapist that fits me. Also better help app is a big part of keeping me connected with Stephanie. The convenience and ease of being able to schedule an appointment and contact her (she responds very fast) makes going to therapy not seem like a big feet to accomplish when it's as easy as the click of a button and video chatting!I really recommend Stephanie and will continue to see her as a therapist I trust!
Stephanie listened and validated my feelings and helped me identity a lot of blind spots and thinking traps I had in my thought process. I made a lot of progress, and grew more confident within the month. I'd have loved to carry on with our sessions but sudden financial strain cut it short.
Stephanie has really helped me understand how to deal with a family member I have with mental illness and the ways I can improve my future so I can live a better and healthier life. She is there to listen to me and help guide me in ways that i never thought were possible. I would recommend Stephanie as a counselor to anyone who is looking for a trusted professional to help them.
