These are typical questions, however, they make a big difference in a person’s life. Possible differences can range from making you smile, giving you the chance to vent, and/or providing you with an emotional outlet.When, the same questions are asked by me, your therapist, the affect will be stronger. A strong, helpful and collaborative therapeutic relationship is one of the biggest factors in determining what positive differences you can create for yourself.
No, I have not plagiarize the above paragraph from a popular online therapy website. The above words are useless, unless we trust, value and respect each other. So, as your therapist, let’s start from the beginning. “Hi, how are you?”, “How is your day going?”

My professional experience was accumulated in the following settings: schools, jails, hospitals, detention facilities, crisis clinics, psychiatric hospitals and outpatient treatment centers. I have a Bachelors in General Studies from Lamar University. My graduate degree, a Masters in Counseling; was earned from Prairie View A&M University. In addition, to my education, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado.
