About me

Steven Reshey, LCSW with over 15 years of experience within the mental health field with 5 of those years as a Licensed Social Worker and has received training in multiple evidence-based therapeutic modalities. This means that Steven can customize your therapeutic experience to fit with your needs and preferences. He has extensive experience helping clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, mood disorders, Neurological disorders, or just struggling with stress and the frustrations of life, and other interfering stressors. Steven has also worked with clients who are veterans and first responders. Steven takes a direct approach to healing and enjoys meeting his clients where they're at in any place of considering change.

Steven is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned his B.A. in Psychology from Touro College, and his Masters of Social Work from Adelphi University. Steven is a Certified Anger Management Specialist, CAMS. Steven is also an Ordained Minster. In addition he has been trained in Active Parenting techniques. Steven also holds extensive experience in Client Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Couples counseling using Gottman’s theory, and Attachment Theory.

Steven provides a truly holistic and comprehensive approach to improving one’s mental health.
