I really enjoy working with Dr. Pollington. She is very good at following along and responding in a way that is idea for me to process and act upon. I have had a few other counselors in my life and she has been one of my favorites to work with.

Dr. Pollington has been a great help to me in coping with some major life changes. I am coping with my emotions post-trauma and abuse. This is my first time working with a therapist in an ongoing basis and I am truly happy. My last attempts with a therapist always felt like a sales session, with my previous one listing all the things he could help me with, which in my mind became overwhelming because of my financial limitations. I have also made a personal commitment not to quit and to trust her experience in using client based therapy with me as a codependent. I get to practice choosing my own path and she is very patient in allowing me the time and space to reflect. The messaging system works well because whenever I am ready to message her, she is there with the right responses. I feel like she really is there with me on my journey. When I needed more assertiveness from her I asked for it and she delivered. We've been working together for less than a month so far and even with tough-to-accept feedback from her, I am very happy and would recommend her to anyone going through a similar experience as mine. Thank you Dr. Sue!
