Hello. My name is Susan Davidson and I’m here to help you! Has life thrown you a curve ball? Have you found yourself in a slump that you can’t seem to get out of? Are you having panic attacks and you don’t know why? Do you have a broken heart? If you are struggling and needing help, there is hope and you have come to the right place. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, addiction, divorce or other relationship issues, grief, illness or another problem area of your life, I would love to walk beside you and work with you until you are where you’d like to be.
I joined this counseling field because I found abundant joy and abiding peace and I wanted to help others find it too. I have a master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I am one of only three therapists in the State of Mississippi that is Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is considered the gold standard for treatment for many of the issues people struggle with today. I have worked in a residential addiction treatment center for the past ten years. Most of the patients (and their families) I have worked with struggled with life problems and turned to a substance or addictive behavior to deal with the pain or pressure of what they’re dealing with. I have a passion for helping others. It’s not just a job for me.
I am able to adapt my counseling style to fit my client’s needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because there is a ton of empirical evidence supporting this method and I know, firsthand, that it works. I also use Solution Focused Therapy and Psychoanalytic. I hope you will allow me to work with you to achieve your goals.

Ms. Davidson "gets me & my issues" COMPLETELY! First counselor I have ever been in therapy with that I feel 100% confidence! It's evident that she tailors my sessions to me & for me. She talks to me & not above me. I ALWAYS look forward to our sessions!!!
I was a little apprehensive about the concept of an online counselor, but truly after one session—my reservations are completely removed. I look forward to continuing this work together with Susan.
Susan has been a great help, she listens, doesn't judge me for my mistakes and is willing to help me cope. I'm improving everyday thanks to her.
Susan has an amazingly calm presence which really allows you to open up. She is very open minded, understanding and very patient. She gives excellent advice and listens to your problems wholeheartedly. I would absolutely recommend her 10/10!
She has saved my life
Ms. Davidson is an amazing therapist/counselor. She has been exactly what I needed when I needed even if I didn’t know I needed it and I’m so happy and thankful I chose to get on this app when I did because it has changed my life for the better.
Susan is awesome! She is very supportive, helpful, and reliable. I couldn’t have asked for a better counselor!
Susan is a great therapist - very understanding and knowledgeable she made me feel comfortable talking to her which is saying something because my entire life I’ve hated opening up and talking about my feelings to anybody. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get help with his or her addiction or problem. After only a few weeks of working with Susan, I now look forward to my scheduled appointments with her and eagerly wait to see what new ideas we can come up with the help me in my personal struggle.
Susan is amazing. I was needing to be connected with someone that had patience and expressed empathy. Susan possessed these qualities. She really has pushed me to reconcile and grow.
Susan Davidson has been the first counselor I've had that's been truly professional and informative. She's shown genuine concern and given advice based on what I say I need, not what she thinks I need.
She made me feel very comfortable and I was extremely thankful as this is my first time seeing therapy. She listened and offered me several ways to help reach my goals.
