About Me

We all want to be happy, but how do we do that? Sometimes life gives us anxiety or depression, stress, or a feeling of stagnation in career or relationships. Or sometimes we have childhood or past traumas that are holding us back from living our best life. If this speaks to you, I can help.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 9 years and am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have specific training in trauma informed care and trust-based relational interventions. I am also a registered yoga teacher. Research shows that we hold emotions in our body and reconnecting with our physical experience is an important part of the emotional healing experience. I work with the whole person, mind and body, to heal, grow, and change.

Susan is very approachable and professional. I do not open up easily, yet she made me feel completely at ease. She has a great sense of humor with compassion for the times you need them both. I would recommend her to my family and friends.

Susan and I have been working together for few weeks only, but I am extremely satisfied with the counseling she has provided. I have learned so much about myself in these weeks and have been able to manage my life issues in an improved manner.

Susan is extremely approachable. I found it very easy to connect with her and she has been very helpful in helping me identify issues and create constructive ways to address them. It doesn't feel like I'm being analyzed, it feels more like a productive partnership designed to help me be my very best self.

Susan has been wonderful. She listens to (or reads about) the issues I'm going through and offers a compassionate response or advice. Would highly recommend her.

Susan is so empathetic and supportive. She's fantastic at slowing me down and getting me breathing again when my anxiety is out of control. I feel she genuinely listens and cares and takes time to prepare for our session. She's wonderful.
