About me

I am licensed in Ohio as an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with 12 + years of professional work experience. I received an MSEd from the University of Dayton with a Certification in Clinical Counseling, a BS in Employee Assistance Counseling from Franklin University and an AD in Nursing Technology from Marion Technical College. My career has included Individual and Group Counseling in Hospital, Foster Care and Private Practice settings. I have experience in helping clients with LGBTQ-related issues, older adults, grief and loss, motivation, self esteem and confidence, and depression. The focus of my work is to empower clients to learn new ways of coping and solving their own issues through collaboration, support, and encouragement. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
