These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Susan Vanderpool. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Sessions with Susan have improved my life in so many ways and created so much more positivity. Eternally grateful for the help I receive.
I am so pleased with Susan. I feel like I am beginning to truly heal and let go of my trauma!
Susan truly understands my issues and helps me see it in a new light
Good listener and I enjoy talking to her.
Susan is by far the best therapist I have ever been a patient of. From the very start after having only a brief description of what I needed help with, she understood.
She has such insight into all of the things I have been dealing with for the last 30 plus years. She totally gets me and the type of advising I desperately need.
She does not coddle or speak down to patients. She tells it like it is and can back up her reasons for the advice she is handing out.
Her professionalism is over and above any other therapist I have ever dealt with. If she is going to be 5 or 10 minutes late to our appointed time, she will let me know. My thoughts on that are obviously someone needed a little extra time & she
respected that need. Knowing how everything depends on the “numbers” as far as productivity goes, my vote is for the clinician who puts her patients first and allows them a extra few minutes!!
Out of a 5 star rating, Susan deserves a 10+!
She teaches in a way I can absorb information easily and readily and whenever I get afraid she helps me recenter myself in a way I feel loved
Susan has been amazing in helping me quickly target areas that I need to focus on the most. Gives amazing advice and techniques to help you!
Susan was very helpful and a great listener. In our short time together, she was able to help me come to terms with issues that were plaguing me for as long as I can remember. Having Susan as my therapist really helped me see the other side's point of view. She left me with a lot to think about and some great exercises which helped me manage my emotions and keep me calm in stressful situations. I would highly recommend Susan to anyone else needing to improve family relationships. If you are reading this, thanks again Susan! Our time together was definitely well spent. :)
I have met Susan through BetterHelp in my worst days ever and she was very understanding, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Sometimes I feel like I’m talking to my mom that loves me and care about me more than my real mom. I highly recommend her.
Susan is really experienced and clearly very concerned for you as her client. She offers compassionate and very practical help. I warmly recommend her.
Susan has a wealth of knowledge and what's to help give you the toys to be a better you. Help work out what the under lying issue is and how to work on healing.
Very clear and concise! Definitely would recommend to anyone. Open minded and very kind and understanding. Helped me immensely.
Susan has been a massive help to me, she has allowed me to recognise psychological patterns that aren’t good for me and has given me some great techniques to see things differently.
i've been talking to Susan for a couple weeks now and I've already recommended my friends to sign up for better help. we talk every Wednesday and honestly now those are the days i look forward to the most.
Susan has been a great therapist, resource, and encouragement for me. She helped me navigate challenging relationships and was genuinely interested in my life as well as sharing experiences of her own. I highly recommend!
I’ve had two sessions so far and I feel like I’ve already make pretty good progress following her advice. I’m feeling super confident about future appointments.
Susan was a great help in allowing me to focus on the things that were impacting me that I was in denial about and avoiding dealing with. She is compassionate, informative and easy to talk to.
She gave me the space I needed to make a very difficult decision in my life but was supportive and directive in assisting me through that process.
She has been one of my best therapists (and I’ve seen around 7) direct with a great bedside manner. She is fantastic!
Susan has really helped me address the root of all my mental health issues and has guided me through plans and techniques to help me cope with my disorders. I am truly so happy I have someone like her to talk to, because I know she is always looking out for my best interest and will always keep me grounded. :)
just finished the first session of my second month with Susan, and it has been great. she is helping me a lot dealing with my trauma. she is a great listener and she understands all my concerns. she has a great background on different cultures which made it easier for me to open up and share my life with her, and to build a connection with her as well. she never stops motivating me. i strongly advice everyone to contact her.
It’s been a few weeks and I can figure what my issues are and how to focus on them to get off my depression. She is patient and advices me on what could be done better. Looking forward to future sessions
Susan gave me great practical advice during a difficult time in my life. The practical outlook is both grounding and motivating!
Susan has helped keep me and my mind on track. When we meet, we not only focus on the positives, but discuss the negatives in such a way that they turn into something good and something to work on/towards. Her counseling is extremely efficient for someone who doesn’t want to be pandered to, but for someone who is looking for some real life advice that is applicable and extremely useful for day-to-day relief and for future planning. I would recommend her until my face goes blue from the breathing exercises she’s taught me!!
I have been speaking the Susan for roughly 4 months now and she has changed my life for the better and could not be more grateful! She’s taken the time to listen and understand my worries and has discussed each part when I’ve been ready to do so. She has given me a different perspective on life and has helped me form a bond back with my family and helped massively with my PTSD. Highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again Susan.
Susan has a wealth of knowledge and makes me feel very comfortable and safe sharing my life experiences. I’m looking forward to our next session.
I’ve been receiving counseling from Susan for a few weeks now and could tell from the first session that I could make big and positive changes in my life with her help. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable/a wealth of experience, and straightforward. Normally I write to her regarding what I’d like to talk about and my issues are addressed during video calls. I’d highly recommend her to anyone.
Susan is amazing! Tons of expertise! Really happy she's my therapist!
Susan is a great listener but has has very good practical advice.
Susan is so attentive and caring and thanks to her, I’ve been able to overcome some of the anxiety issues I had in the past. She is always on time and very professional. I’m so thankful for her help!
She keeps to the agreed schedule and often considers how convenient the timing may be for her client. She is a good listener and often shares her life experiences in order to relate with what clients are going through. She is soft spoken, I often feel relieved after each session.
Susan was a wonderful help to me! I felt very comfortable to speak freely with her and she was kind and understanding. She gave me some great insight and i have already implemented into my life some different approaches that are working very well based on her thoughts and suggestions. I am grateful for all of her help and guidance!
Susan has helped me a lot to gain insight into my emotions and has provided practical solutions to help me cope with my issues like anxiety. She is a patient listener, is not judgemental and very inclusive. Susan always responds to me in time and is never late for therapy sessions.
Susan is very professional and knows how to get to the root of what is bothering me while also offering solutions. She offers great advice and I feel like she really listens and cares about her clients. My life is forever changed by her, she knows what she is doing.
After one session I felt Susan to be caring and compassionate, her pragmatic approach helped me locate the root of my situation and I step away empowered.
I greatly appreciated Susan's caring and pragmatic approach to our sessions. I felt heard, validated, and respected. At the end of each session, Susan offered a clear action that I could work on between sessions. This gave me a sense of purpose and helped us monitor progress.
