About Me
Welcome to Better Help counseling and thank you for taking the time to read more about me and how I can help you.
My name is Sue Hamilton and I am a licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I earned my master’s degree in 2009 and have experience working with clients with issues such as: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship and family issues and addiction.
Life brings us many learning opportunities through the changes and challenges it provides us. It is at the hardest times that reaching out for help is crucial. Therapy provides a safe place to share your story, get honest feedback, and work towards your goals. I use a client-centered approach. I will join you on your path and work with you to reach the goals you have for your life.
I am a mother of 3 adult children and the grandmother to 3 wonderful little boys. I have learned much from life and feel blessed to do the work I do to help others. I enjoy kickboxing, cooking and I have a passion for reading and writing. I look forward to working with you.

She keeps it groovy like a drive in movie, understanding, attentive, I’m happily satisfied with the talks. As well as the helpful solutions she given me indeed, she righteous indeed.
Sue is a kind a compassionate person. Her presence is uplifting and sincere. She’s a lovely person
I've been working with Sue for a little over a month now and I'm really enjoying our therapeutic relationship. Sue is attentive, very personable, and genuine. She's understanding to life's every day struggles and relates where she can! I'm very glad that our paths crossed!
Sue is incredibly empathetic, kind, and insightful. She has provided very straightforward advice on how to work through my breakup and its aftermath. Each session with Sue is another opportunity for me to learn something new and apply it to my life. Thank you Sue!
I've been working with Susanne Hamilton for over a year now, and I feel as though I've made a lot of positive progress in that time. My life has been pretty hectic and I've faced a lot of hardships, but my counseling is helping me deal with these problems in a healthier way. I'm learning a lot, and caring for my mental health better than ever. She's also very kind and easy to talk to.
Sue is an exceptional therapist. She is sensitive, kind, supportive, and extremely skilled. She’s also quick to smile and laugh (when appropriate, of course). She has helped me a great deal. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a therapist.
Sue was a great counselor. She helped me navigate my anxiety and depression, giving me support and tools to help me better handle my distress. She was a great listener and extremely supportive. I am a better able to thrive through my time working with Sue.
I have been working with Sue for over five months and she is amazing. She is a wonderful listener and doesn’t ever jump to conclusions. She is kind, supportive, and nonjudgmental. She has helped me get through some very difficult things and I always feel better after a session with her!
She has been the best! Always listening and helping me pull out questions that I would not do on my own.
She listens... she actually listens. I breathe easier after speaking with her. Sue is kind, and doesn't feel the need to fill silence. I never knew I needed that minute of quiet to settle my thoughts.
Sue is awesome! Give her a shot.
Sue has already helped me in this short amount of time with my anxiety by listening to me, by acknowledging my feelings and by looking into things that are helpful for me to cope with it instead of fighting against it. Most people often tend to only look for solutions, while we just want to be heard. Sue does both. So glad I took this step, wish I’d have done it a long time ago.
Sue is extremely kind, empathetic, and calming. I always feel better after a session. She is a great listener but also knows when to jump in and provide great counseling. She is highly recommended.
I love Sue! I’m signing up for three more months. She’s been so helpful in such little time
I love Mrs Susanne Hamilton. She has helped me so much just in these past couple of months. I would highly recommend her for counseling.
Sue is a great counselor and person who really cares, which is rare. I'm very happy working with her and feel better after we have our sessions. I'm very happy with BetterHelp also which has brought help over the phone.
Susanne, whom I have been communicating with for only 2 weeks, seems to be genuine and eager to help. We are still in the discovery process but I do feel somewhat better already, knowing that my feelings are not that of a crazy person. I like her much better than taking anti-depressants.
Susanne is thoughtful, empathetic, and so kind. She makes you feel like you are being heard, and that you are not hopeless.
Susanne is very helpful and I look forward to continuing to work with her
