About me

I received my Master’s Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2014. I am licensed in the state of Vermont. I currently can only provide counseling services to those located geographically in Vermont.

I am currently offering short term therapy. Short term therapy is where we will meet for between 2-10 sessions to work on your goals focusing on using your strengths to build skills and strategies to support your needs. Short term therapy can be very effective in building skills and strategies for anxiety, depression, adjusting to life changes, developing confidence and creating a foundation to begin more in depth focus on healing trauma.

I am a client-centered therapist who works directly with each client to create individualized treatment to match what your own hopes and goals are. No one person is the same, and I am a strong advocate that therapy should also not be "cookie cutter." I value each client's own individuality as a main factor in resilience building. Every person has their own innate ability to discover healing and comfort. I view my role as a support to walk along side you on your own unique journey. I incorporate mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness and Somatic practices as supportive therapeutic tools in session.

Taking the first step to ask for support is empowering, and I welcome us to work together to continue to explore resiliency, hope and empowerment for yourself.

The first minute I met Suzanne I felt safe. Grief is hard to talk about but she created an environment where I did not feel rushed to share and could move at my own pace through the details. Suzanne’s sessions have been tremendous in helping me to begin to process this loss. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have found this support.

Suzanne helped me begin my journey of individual therapy. I was apprehensive about it at first but within a few months, I realized that I am lucky to have found her as my therapist. She creates a safe space where I can be vulnerable about myself, she listens intently and takes the time to ask thoughtful questions which have helped me understand myself and my place in my relationships better. She also shares plenty of resources so that I can continue working on myself outside of our therapy sessions. She is timely, respectful and communicative and responds to my questions in depth whether it's in writing or on a video call. I highly recommend her especially if you are just starting professional therapy. She has completely changed my perception about it for the better and I can't thank her enough.
