About Me

Hello. I want to commend you for taking this first step towards helping yourself or your loved ones. We all want to feel that we can solve our own problems, but the reality is that oftentimes circumstances arise that can be overwhelming and reaching out for help, if only to gain a clearer perspective, is the “sanest” thing you can do.

I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida with experience working with individuals, families, and groups. I have had the privilege to assist clients of all ages with diverse backgrounds who struggled with a variety of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and gender identity and sexual orientation concerns. I use a variety of modalities in my work, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, attachment theory, art and "play" therapy, and trauma-informed treatments such as EMDR. While a strong clinical understanding of evidence-based methods is required in the field of counseling, I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between the client and therapist. I believe everyone deserves to be seen and heard and I strive to work collaboratively with my clients to help them reach their goals. I will work hard to gain your trust, be your advocate, and help you gain more clarity on behaviors that are working for you and those that are not. Ultimately what we all need is hope that things can and will get better, and my goal is to help you internalize that hope.

I look forward to working with you!
