About Me

My name is Suzanne Reichert, and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker/therapist in the state of Texas. I have a Masters's degree from the University of Texas and I have been in practice for 30 years. Before I had a master's degree, I was a crisis counselor and I worked extensively with people going through family violence and sexual trauma. I was able to work many years with families in the military. During that time, I counseled people experiencing and facing many problems, including OCD, depression, family violence, sexual trauma, ADHD, attachment disorder, separation anxiety, grief and loss, and other trauma related issues.
I believe in meeting clients where they are. I feel that I am compassionate, understanding, empathetic and that I am able to help clients regain hope in themselves and others. I use a variety of approaches to therapy, including but not limited to CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), rational emotive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, solution-based therapy, family systems therapy as well as other approaches to trauma.
I am excited to start therapy with people who are letting themselves be vulnerable and open to new therapists and becoming more confident and are learning new skills to cope with life's challenges.
