About me

Hello, my name is Tabitha, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I earned my Masters in Rehabilitation Professional Counseling at Georgia State in 2011 and my Bachelors in Psychology from Kennesaw State in 2006. For the past six years, I have been providing counseling and assessment services for a variety of clients. As a counselor, I am well-versed in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, gender identity, and trauma. I am a LGBTQ+, kink, and poly-friendly therapist. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). While I draw on CBT techniques, my therapeutic style is person-centered. My colleagues describe me as a "warm and fuzzy" therapist. I believe that you are the expert when it comes to your thoughts and feelings. My job as a therapist is to provide a safe space where we can explore and "organize" your thoughts and feelings so they become clearer and more manageable. I practice unconditional positive regard, which means that nothing you share with me is going to negatively impact the way I think or feel about you. I want therapy to be a place where you can be your authentic self.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tabitha Doyle. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Tabitha worked with me for 6 months on setting goals, learning how to listen to myself and my mental health. I really enjoyed our conversations and she gave great insight on how I can communicate better, acknowledge my struggles and check in with myself. I feel like the mental health tools she worked with me on, I'll be taking with as I navigate my self care journey moving forward. I would recommend working with Tabitha as she's a great listener and will support and want the best for you. She helped set personal goals for myself and checked in, encouraged journaling and my mental health, sleep and state of mind has improved from our sessions.

Tabitha has helped me so much to reach some breakthroughs and understand why I believe and act the way I do. She is supportive and always leads me to the insights I need. I feel better after working with her for four months and look forward to continuing to work with her.

Tabitha is respectful, kind, and thoughtful. She has helped me be truer to myself in only a short period of time and I’m always grateful and happy for our time together.

I love Tabitha. I have been through a few other therapists before her and she is by far my favorite. She is calm and respectful, and also knows when to throw in a good joke. I am very happy with my help thus far and am finally excited to continue therapy sessions, something I didn’t understand before.
