Dr. Talya Straughter

(DPC, LPC, NBCC, BC-TMH)

About Me

I believe every person makes the best adjustment to life's circumstances within the range of options available. Those options are only limited by our view of the world and how to have our needs met. Counseling helps clients expand their world view and options for dealing with recurring patterns of distress.

I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs. Through developing a personalized treatment plan, we will outline behaviors, goals, and methods to support your commitment as you move toward improved mental health and wellness. These services are provided through individual, family, couples or group therapy.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to supporting you as you work towards discovering your inner strength. It is my goal to provide an environment where you feel safe to share your story, embrace imperfections, and reclaim dreams. I am honored to be a part of your journey and witness you discover the strength to speak your truth. Therapy can be the first step to saying YES to yourself; to making YOU a priority.

She is thoughtful and patient with you at all times. She listens to you if something isnt working and is ready and willing to work with what you can and cant do in the process of feeling better and getting to a better place. When you talk she listens and she isnt going to give you something that is a waste of time.
