Hello, please allow me to introduce myself. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey, Certified Divorce Mediator, and Forensic Mental Health Evaluator candidate. I have specialized training in Marriage and Family Therapy and I also hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration. I have been practicing professionally for over 13 years with a wide range of experiences that include group therapy, couples therapy, child and adolescent therapy, adult therapy, geriatric therapy, child welfare, juvenile justice, and supervisory / administrative positions. I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-harm, relationship issues, parenting issues, and ADHD. I have also worked with clients that struggle with more severe mental health concerns such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and various personality disorders. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma, human trafficking, and emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm, empathic, nonjudgmental, supportive, and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines person centered, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling. I have years of personal and professional experience in understanding and helping others cope with the specific trials that are prevalent in our current trying times.
