About me

Hi, I'm Tammy, a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Tennessee with over 17 years of experience. I have worked with a variety of populations, including children, adolescents, young, middle and older adults. While I specialize in grief therapy, I also have extensive experience with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, addiction, adjustment to life changes, and more. Clients have described me as empathic, warm and a safe place to work through sensitive issues.

Reaching out for help is one of the hardest things a person can do, so the fact that you are here is brave, worthy and I honor your commitment to growth. Therapy is not a quick fix, it is a collaborative relationship that requires time and effort from both counselor and client. I look forward to walking alongside you as you do this incredibly difficult, beautiful work called healing.

I was skeptical about therapy and talking to a total stranger. Tammy has slowly made me open up and has supported me as I’ve broken down about my mothers passing. She just listens and sometimes, that’s all I need.
