My name is Tammy Samour and I am a licensed professional counselor and a licensed chemical dependency counselor in the state of Texas. I have additional certifications in employee assistance, anger management, substance abuse professional, adolescent education, and school counseling. I have worked with a wide variety of demographics and needs for more than 20 years and specialize in substance abuse disorders, mental health disorders, relationships, life coaching, and education. I believe everyone is searching or striving to reach their best life but many times there are obstacles keeping them from reaching their full potential. These obstacles and the way we deal with them are many times a focal point in therapy. These obstacles can be issues attributed to unhealthy relationships, mental health, addictions, codependency, trauma, anger management, grief, low self-esteem, faulty thinking, etc. Therapy is a collaborative experience driven by the client’s perceived presenting problem.
