I currently hold an MS in Psychology from Misericordia University and a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Scranton. I am presently a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the field for 10 years. I presently specialize in trauma informed practices and utilizes CBT, strength based, and motivational interviewing techniques throughout my work. Over the last 10 years, I have gained experience within the field by working in various levels of care and with a number of different populations. This includes providing treatment to women in an inpatient program who were struggling with substance use disorders and trauma, men who were incarcerated at the time that were also dealing with substance use disorders and trauma, an outpatient setting that dealt with individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive disorders as well as substance use disorders, and an outpatient treatment setting with individuals involved in MAT. For me, it's important to remember that everyone’s story is different and treatment should be individualized to help them feel safe, comfortable, and hopeful for what comes next in their journey.

Tanya genuinely understands my stress as a working mother. She is compassionate and an excellent listening ear. She is the perfect counselor for me and has helped me manage the pandemic and everyday life. I'm truly grateful for her.
With a nee baby at home this has made counseling doable. I love and look forward to my discussions with Tanya every week. She is a great listener and always helps me to make realistic goals, both long and short term. I recommend Better Help to everyone
Tanya was compassionate, understanding, and helped me when I needed it most. She was wonderful!
Tanya has helped me tremendously. In just three months I am no longer overthinking everything in sight and feel a lot more self-confident than I have in quite a while.
I have been working with Tanya for about a month now and she has helped me tremendously. Whether it was helping me organize my thoughts or find need coping skills for my anxiety, she has knocked it out of the park every time.
A very down to earth person who sees different sides to things. Very informative and knowledgeable.
Tanya is an excellent counselor.
Was very compassionate and does a good mix of listening and providing thoughtful insight. I've caught myself wondering what she would say about how I'm handling intense emotions as they are happening already, which has made me feel gratitude. I'm very optimistic about the progress I think I'll be able to make with her, as she seems very intelligent and easy to get along with.
She's been super helpful so far! Very understanding and always validates my feelings and makes me feel heard.
Tanya has been so helpful in learning to recognize the roots of my anxieties, and in confidence building. Through our interactions I have already seen and felt a positive difference in the way my brain is working, and because of my experience so far I have strongly suggested BetterHelp to multiple friends who I think could benefit from it.
After only a few sessions with Tanya I already feel myself experiencing growth and more at peace.
Tanya is a great counselor! She makes me feel heard, understood, and important. It’s easy to feel like just another client, but she remembers important details from past sessions and takes the time to make sure she’s done everything she can to help. I’m very happy I’ve been connected with her!
Tanya is honestly the best counselor I’ve ever had. I tried counseling in college and never had a great experience, but with with Tanya, she and I automatically connected. She understood me after only our FIRST session. I highly recommend her.
Tanya is amazing! As a counselor and as a person! She is informed, knowledgeable, genuine, compassionate, encouraging, skilled, kind, timely, warm and personable. She listens, assesses and offers suggestions in just the right way (not always an easy line to straddle).
She invites you in. Tanya is everything i thought i wanted in a counselor..but more..
She's better! I feel extremely lucky to have found her! So will you!
