About me

Hi! My name is Dr. Tanya Hough. I work in private practice. My clients, per my request, call me Tanya. I believe I am a therapeutic guide for each and everyone of my clients. I have approximately 20 years of clinical experience. I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety, family relationships, depression, trauma, and overall adjustment challenges that are seemly overwhelming and seem like they will never go away and provide some sort of relief.

If life was not complicated enough, the pandemic has created an uncertain, fearful, and deeply impactful life that has created a new set of challenges that have become a major factor in one's life. Humans are meant to be social creatures. That has been taken away during these uncertain times. This impact has been very detrimental for almost everyone. No one in our lifetime has experienced a global pandemic. The changes and impacts it has had on each and every individual has caused tremendous turmoil. The isolation due to COVID-19 has restricted social connectedness in such ways as being unable to physically go to one's work location, perhaps losing one's job, being unable to see family and friends, grief from losing someone close, and the overall fear it created is unprecedented.

I want to help anyone that feels alone, whether from COVID-19 or from other circumstances in life.
