Welcome! I am an independently practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I approach therapy as a collaboration between myself and the individual(s) served. Together we can discuss your treatment goals and priorities. My goals as the therapist are to make you feel comfortable, validated, and empowered throughout the process. I have been a social worker for more than 20 years and have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds who are struggling with a wide variety of challenges. Much of my experience has been working with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, substance abuse, and the challenges of a complex world. I use a myriad of evidence based treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, strength-based, mindfulness, and trauma informed. The feedback I receive from clients is that they find me to be authentic, caring and nonjudgmental, and they appreciate that I am honest and direct with them. You can expect me to walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing, and help you learn more about yourself and the way you interact with the world while promoting resiliency.

The technology at Betterhelp has allowed us to further the treatment process by having several interactions per day/week, which can intensify the therapeutic relationship, while allowing for rapid change.
