I am a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker holding a graduate degree in Social Work, with 8 years experience working as a psychotherapist with diverse adult populations in inpatient and outpatient settings. I have extensive experience working with a wide spectrum of issues including addictions, mood disorders (anxiety & depression), trauma/abuse, relationships, family issues, and identity/self-esteem.
I enjoy the privilege of walking alongside individuals as a supportive presence and guide as folks navigate life's many challenges. I have witnessed the power of discovering one's innermost strengths as well as the underlying wounds we carry in order to better understand what is getting in the way of having the lives we most desire while simultaneously using those strengths as the necessary helping hand to heal and grow. I use an attachment & emotion-focus in therapy, as these 2 areas of our human experience are so primary in our way of functioning and overall improve our ability to manage and enhance these dimensions in our lives. I am eclectic in varying the methods and techniques I use with clients in order to best meet each person wherever they are. I also enjoy providing tangible feedback and ideas so that folks can have a clear sense of direction & support in the ways that they desire to. I believe that improving our general perspective of ourselves is the most essential task of developing the satisfaction we desire in our lives, so helping clients tune into and turn the volume up on the best parts of themselves is of the utmost importance in our work together.
