About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. My focus areas include, but are not limited to, behavioral problems such as Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositonal Defiant Disorder, grief and couples counseling. I have over 12 years of experience working with individuals and families.

There’s a safe haven. A safe haven that doesn't contain judgement brought on by the world. This haven is yours, and I am just a part of it providing a warm, supportive environment. My mission is to guide you, whomever you may be: a child; an adolescent; or an adult. Regardless, I am here to help you live in greatness through the refreshing, renewing, and the regulating of your mind. I’m here to use therapeutic approaches that will be beneficial to you and your family situation. With me inside your safe haven, together we will promote positive and permanent change.

Often times, we may respond to situations based on the connection between the circumstance and our emotions ultimately blocking us from making the decision that is most beneficial to our well-being, which is why I promote the intelligence over emotions V.S emotions over intelligence, or the I/E V.s E/I, formula.

When I started out with Tasha I was very nervous, but her calm, incisive approach took care of that in no time and made it possible to work on and get ahead with issues no one could make a dent in before.

Having created a safe basis my whole thinking swung around in a few months, and I now feel seen, understood and supported. The way Tasha lets you discover strenghts you already have motivates very strongly, so before you know, you're acting on your insights, experimenting, being less and less afraid of your mistakes.

It worked really well for me how Tasha always keeps the process at the core. Even with the complicating factor that English isn't my first language, she always managed to extract the exact issue from the rambling description of symptoms and when I got confused by my own thoughts, got us back on track quickly. We even handled technical problems with the user interface in such a positive way it's become part of my process.

All in all, warmly recommended and a huge THANK YOU! Already looking forward to the next session!

Tasha has a wonderful way of working: she is warm, friendly, supportive, and yet still held me accountable. We had to dig through a lot of experiences and reactions to get to the bottom of what was bothering me. Tasha supported me through the whole process so I could get through the tough parts. I gained a new perspective, rediscovered who I was without my job, and learned lasting ways to stop myself from derailing. I strongly recommend Tasha to anyone looking for a counselor who will help them sort through their challenges and come out the other side.

Tasha has been amazing in the few months I've worked with her, and she's really helped me a lot! She's been really patient with me and with the technical issues that arise sometimes, and she's always a listening ear and a great "common sense" voice that has helped me a lot during times of anxiety or depressive episodes. She's helped me a lot with all the useful info and worksheets she's provided with techniques and information on calming techniques, challenging my catastrophic thought processes, and dealing with my ADHD. Tasha is really great!! I've loved talking to and working with her.

I have been working with Tasha for a few months now and she has made a positive and significant impact on my life. Without a doubt, she is the best therapist I have ever had. Tasha is amazing. From the first time I spoke to her, I felt like she understood where I was coming from. She's professional yet warm and gives assignments and helps track progress which I think is really useful cause there's a goal in mind.

My last sessions used to be 1hr but my one's with Tasha are 30mins and sometimes I feel like she might be a little distracted but maybe that's just me trying to adjust to video counselling and obviously wanting more time with her to filter through my thoughts.

I’ve been talking to Tasha for a couple weeks in efforts to take control of my anxiety and negative way of thinking. She has helped me so much in the few sessions we’ve had and I feel much more calm and in control of my emotions thanks to her. She is very relatable and I can tell she’s interested in what I say. Tasha is such a great match for me as a councillor, she really helps in getting to the root of what I’m feeling and often why. I’ve also been able to expand my vocabulary in regards to expressing how I’m feeling with her guidance. Our sessions always leave me with things to reflect on and sometimes tasks to do to support my progress in the areas we discuss. I really enjoy my sessions with Tasha and have done so for the past five months!

She is a nice counselor! This is my first time doing therapy with an English native speaker. She listened to me and pointed out what is my problems in our first session. She also speak slower so that I can follow. It was a nice experience with her, I got more confidence and hope to face my problems.!

Tasha is the first counsellor I have had that I have been able to connect with and feel comfortable opening up to. She respects my thoughts and feelings, helps me explore them deeper, and has me considering aspects of things I haven't before. In only three sessions, I have been able to make substantial progress with her. I especially like that we can laugh together, she is extremely understanding and caring, and she only weighs in with a personal opinion if I ask for it. She is of great help to me and I hope to continue our sessions together.

One of the hardest parts of finding a therapist is finding someone that you feel safe with and with whom you click. It's not always easy to find that. I adore Tasha and I'm so glad she's my therapist :) I always feel so much better after talking to her.

Tasha has been a Godsend! After the first session, I felt like I had a mental massage and that I could finally exhale! In 3 weeks, we have made major progress through relational and personal issues that I’ve been dealing with for years. She’s very wise, insightful, even intuitive in her approach. She’s even helped me spiritually (if you’re into that). I would highly recommend her as a counselor and as a person.

Tasha is a very friendly counsellor her, shes natural in nature the way she speak and very skillful. I'm just so thankful I found her. I am amazed about her expertise that she offer to me through her counsels. The worksheet gets you to think so that when you get the answers to these things specific and intentional questions you can work work with them. I'm taking time to learn about myself to discover, my desire and dislikes. She teaches you about self love and self care. I was in a very dark space in my life and didn't know how to think logically without having too much emotions in the way and too much things.Tasha taught me and help me how to get through my emotions and becomes self aware of my anxiety and depression so i can heal from it. She listen to you and she invites friendly counseling. All the nice think you could think of she provides it. She's an amazing person inside and out. There's absolutely nothing wrong with speaking to a therapist, sharing thoughts and hearing an outsider perspective. Working out healthy ways to deal with your issues and not allowing them to manifest in your life. My first session with her i was literally crying about a lot of things but this helps soothe my pain. Overall a very good counsellor. I look forward to every session I have with her, and surely not to miss one.

Tasha provides key advise and pertinent questions in a succinct and direct way. It focuses me on this advice rather than getting lost with too many words and sentences. I appreciate this approach. Tasha keeps it at a high level of discussion rather than getting lost in small talk. This I appreciate too.

I just had my first session with Tasha after talking for a few days and I could not be happier. She made me feel so at ease. It was like talking to a good friend. She also has this great energy.
