I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has been a practitioner of the healing arts with over twenty years of experience working with clients who are seeking counseling support while they navigate the challenges of daily living and complex emotions. My goal is to provide therapeutic support and validation to the client with the goal of empowering them to create solutions that will help strengthen their ability to grow emotionally while developing coping strategies that will contribute to their attainment of a happy, fulfilling, and productive life.
My approach is client-centered and is based on the individual needs of each client. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including, mindfulness therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My experience includes work with relationship issues, diversity issues, including race and cultural variables, self-esteem, anxiety, women's issues, and sexual assault.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families, both in my private practice and in a variety of service-based settings. My goal is to create a safe place where you can freely express your concerns and move towards developing the tools to begin living your best life.
