About me

I am a licensed therapist in Georgia with seven years of therapy experience. Therapy has been a calling for me since I was younger, and I continued to feel called the older I became. Even after seven years in practice, I still say every day that this is my dream job.

I graduated from Valdosta State University in 2013 with my Bachelor's and then again in 2015 with my Master's. I began my career in the world of drug court, where I spent several years helping and learning from those who struggled with addictions. I then moved over to the community mental health field, where I still currently practice. I have worked with a wide range of populations--from those who suffer from severe and persistent mental illnesses, to teenagers, to mothers with postpartum depression, and all the way down to adolescents. I believe strongly in serving the underserved and seeing those who aren't otherwise noticed in our society. I believe everyone deserves to be heard and to have the opportunity to tell their story. Everyone's story is important, and I consider it one of the greatest honors of my life to hear so many.

I use person centered approaches and have extensive experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & trauma and abuse. I firmly believe that the brave person (you) seeking support should dictate how their sessions go. I consider myself a partner in your healing--I will walk with you each step and assist you in learning how to live the life you want and be who you want to be or don't want to be. You are so brave for being here today. I am honored and humbled to walk with you in your healing--whatever that may look like. My availability can be discussed during our first session.

Taylor is amazing! She really takes her time listening to your concerns, giving you the support you need, but also reminding you of your worth and helps. You to process the hard things! Best decision I made was accepting her as my therapist!

Taylor is super accessible and definitely understanding of my thought processes. I’ve been in therapy for years and it can sometimes take forever to get to a point where you feel like your therapist speaks your language. I’m excited to be working with Taylor, for sure!
