Terah Sampler grew up in South Carolina and lived in Louisiana for graduate school. While in New Orleans, she met and married her husband, Jason. They are a foster and adoptive family and have ten children. Terah earned a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2012. Since that time, she has practiced in Lafayette, LA and Villa Rica, GA, and more recently, Woodstock, GA. She has completed advanced training in Intimacy Therapy and is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). She has led pre-intensive marriage counseling, family intensives, marriage intensives, and EMDR mini-intensives for individuals needing care for trauma. Her clients love her heart for authentic community and her straightforward style of communication. She enjoys working with couples and trauma survivors. Terah is passionate about her family, foster and adoption care, social justice, and coffee. Terah counts it a privilege for people to share their stories with her and loves to see lives be restored. When she's not working, she loves being a mom, Mexican food, and Clemson football.
