Hello, I am a licensed social worker working as a private clinical therapist in Texas. I have extensive experience working in the field of mental health and healthcare. My career has been centered around working with adult and older adult clients experiencing depression and anxiety and other mental health disorders. I also have a broad experience in hospitals both in the inpatient and outpatient settings and significant experience in general health. I have a client centered practice, specializing in the treatment of depressive symptoms, anxiety and other mental health diagnosis as well as family issues. My approach is the use of CBT and DBT for treatment of mental health disorders. I am also EMDR trained and utilize EMDR therapy for help in areas of trauma and significant traumatic events. Other past experiences include teaching and currently licensed as a supervisor for social workers obtaining their license. I enjoy being outdoors, working in the yard, and find the ocean a relaxing experience.
