Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is the basic theoretical foundation of my work with clients however I have a great interest and draw many techniques from other theoretical approaches as well. Most sessions will focus on self-awareness, critical thinking, problem solving, and goal setting. The central idea is to help clients identify damaging irrational beliefs and faulty thinking patterns. I like to teach client’s new ways of processing information and help clients set more realistic and obtainable goals. Outside of sessions, there may be homework assignments such as journal writing, reading, art or other methods of self-discovery and expression. I can help you discover new coping skills and develop healthy behaviors. My desire to learn and provide quality service has helped me to stay current with emerging best practices and enables me to match evidence-based interventions to the specific issues facing the people I help.

My first impression about Terrence was amazing. He immediately made me feel comfortable and He took his time to carefully explain to me the journey I was about to start, giving me smart suggestions I could easily apply in my daily life.
He was deeply professional and got my attention for the entire hour we talked. I deeply raccomend him and I hope our paths will cross again in the future.

If I knew therapy was like this, I would have started sooner. I thought it would have to be tough work to make change, but Terrence taught me that consistency is the key and it does not have to be tough. The change you start in your thinking will translate into your life almost automatically, and so it did. I started about 3 months ago to integrate the therapy into my life and the change in mindset and action has been astounding. For the first time in a long time feel like myself again, having fun with friends and being productive. I am truly grateful for Terrence counseling and it does not hurt that he is a very relateable and nice human being.

I am extremely happy with my counseling with Terrence. When I started, I was having daily panic attacks and very often getting stuck in depression episodes. I've since been able to take control of myself and better handle my mental illnesses. I'm only a month in, and I already feel much better about myself. I recommend him to anyone with anxiety, depression, and self confidence issues!

Terrence is a fantastic counselor. After experiencing a less-than-great counselor on this site, I switched and was assigned to Terrence. He listened to me, encouraged me, and helped me understand myself better. His counseling strategies are more about growth than a quick fix, which is much better in the long run! I'd recommend him to anyone!
