I am a clinical social worker licensed in my home state of Michigan. I earned my MSW from Indiana University School of Social Work in 2007. I am a military spouse and my family’s frequent moves have given me great opportunities to work in a variety of clinical settings with all age groups. I have worked as a therapist helping children and teens regulate big emotions and cope with traumas, led group therapy with adults in transition from hospital psychiatric care, provided assessment and care to wounded soldiers, and worked in a private practice group doing individual therapy addressing parenting issues, adjustments, grief, anxiety, and depression. I have had training in many different treatment modalities, but I typically use Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Each person is different, so I will always work with you to develop the best course of action.
