Gail Roberson Fatino MS, LPC, LMLP . Licensed Professional Counselor: Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Delaware . Licensed Masters Level Psychologist: Kansas. . I travel full-time in our RV with my husband of 18 years and our Tonkinese cats, Apollo and Jazzi. I have a private office in our RV, where I conduct remote therapy sessions. I also write children’s books featuring characters who help young readers navigate real-life challenges. . I love connecting with nature because it reminds me of what truly matters in life, which is a key reason I enjoy my RV lifestyle so much. As a quote from The Lion King states: “There is more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done." My goal is to see and do as much as possible while living my best life. In short, I love life and make it my mission to experience it to the fullest every day! . As an interactive, solution-focused therapist, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored specifically to my clients' immediate needs and life visions. My practice, which spans three decades, is grounded in evidence-based solutions. I listen without judgment and teach my clients to utilize mental health tools to cope with and resolve the issues that brought them to therapy. . I would be remiss not to mention that therapy can extend beyond problem resolution. I enjoy helping my clients create the life experiences they desire, and for those who wish, therapy can focus on optimizing their mental health. I am deeply grateful for the life teachers who have graced my life over the years, imparting invaluable lessons. I share their words of wisdom with clients who want to incorporate them into their therapeutic experience. . I enjoy my work as a therapist now just as much as I did when my career began over three decades ago. Through years of practice, I've come to understand that real answers exist for life’s challenges. I also take great pleasure in helping others create the experiences they desire. My philosophy about therapy is that each individual’s experience is unique. It’s my role as their therapist to guide them toward their desired outcomes. Additionally, I have a responsibility to present various ways for them to achieve their goals, as there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution; multiple paths often exist to tackle a problem or move beyond a specific life situation. It is genuinely my distinct pleasure to assist my clients in discovering the answers that best suit their lives. . I now offer mental health therapy exclusively. Over five years ago, I transitioned my entire practice to tele-Counseling, which made therapy just a click away for my clients, eliminating the time and hassle of traveling to an office. This was only the beginning of the benefits, as clients have shared that they can focus on their issues more quickly and deeply in their own familiar environment. I’ve also noticed that, in general, teletherapy requires fewer sessions to achieve successful outcomes than in-office sessions. . A few considerations for specifically choosing the Better Help platform for my clients include the amenities of the 24/7 message page allows for on-going therapy between live sessions. The "journal option" makes it possible for my clients to easily do their personal work and then share it with me if they choose, or keep it private otherwise. The menu of session modes meets each client at their comfort level and availability. My clients can select for phone or live chat or video on a session by session basis. There is a library of worksheets and information available to therapists that are beneficial to my clients. Plus, my clients can print or upload their messages and worksheets and maintain their own record of their therapy experience. These are all amenities generally beyond the scope of traditional therapy, and is the reason I selected "Better Help" for my clients. . I’d love to connect with you on Better Help! So log-in, settle into your easy chair, and click "Work with Me". I am right here to take that first life-changing step with you. Gail

I practice from an eclectic approach since each client is unique and responds to different Technics and approaches depending on the issue at hand. I also believe in attending to a client, as a “whole”, person because I believe problems are often caused by a host of things. My part as a therapist is to guide, support and empower that individual through the healing process without judgement. My services encompass benevolence, and empathy to my clients. After all, it is all about the client and what he/she needs. I am caring, yet firm when necessary, since we all need a nudge at times to move on. I love to work with people who are committed to unfolding a baggage in their life-stories as they work towards life's happiness and self-fulfillment. I utilize integrative therapies, such as humanistic/client-centered approach because I believe that clients have strengths to build-on during therapy and after therapy. I also employ Cognitive Behavior Therapy because I find it useful for many emotional cases. Together we can address client’s concerns/issues in the most helpful manner that can bring healing/relief to that individual making life better and peaceful. My belief and approach to therapy begins with the idea that humans are generally self- correcting. This follows the teaching of both Carl Jung and Milton Erickson. We can get stuck for a variety of reasons and if able to get past that point, it can lead to us moving in a healthier direction. I believe that our value systems are extremely important to finding direction and solutions. I have studied comparative religions and cultures to be able to understand and work with a wide variety of people. I have worked in many different settings with a wide range of cultures and values. Currently my greatest strength is in working with individuals and couples. I started my career by creating and running an outpatient clinic as part of a runaway and homeless youth shelter. I did this for my first 18 years. We provided case management, individual and family therapy to youth and their families. We did this both in the shelter and in the community. My personal approach includes brief family therapy, problem solving therapy, structural and strategic systems theory, hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral, communication theory and addiction therapies. I trained and supervised paid staff and graduate students. I worked in conjunction with a local university to conduct research which enabled us to improve our working therapy model and process. During this time, I completed 29 hours towards a PH. D in family therapy. I was offered a fellowship with Washington University's Ph. D program. I worked part time for New Life Christian Counseling, an outpatient therapy group, providing professional Christian therapy. I then worked 18 years for managed care helping members utilize their mental health benefits, providing phone therapy and crisis intervention. My other experiences were in outpatient office settings.
