I have been a licensed professional counselor and professional life coach in Georgia with over 8 years of experience . I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, low self esteem, communication challenges, career challenges, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and adjustment and life functioning for people with disabilities . I have lots of information and resources around these areas. I have also helped people who have experienced grief and loss, family trauma such as abuse, recovering from significant other relationships that were emotionally abusive, life transitions such as graduating from college and moving into the"real world" to begin "adulting", becoming new parents, or significant other stressors including break ups and divorce. One of my specialty areas in the area of career is helping people to eliminate self doubt so they can overcome plateaus in terms of creating a more fulfilling career and/ or business and hitting some of those goals that have eluded them. Sometimes people are stuck and desire help to move out of that space and reach for goals that feel scary but would make all the difference to their career growth. This is what we do here. The focus would be topics such as discovering your purpose, giving yourself permission to go after your goals and finding out what the source of the self doubt is so you can move forward and stop sabotaging yourself, creating an executable plan, and more. If this career specialty area sounds like what you need, let me know and I can work with you on getting past your stuck point by helping you boost your self confidence. My style is warm and empathetic and I use a cognitive behavioral approach, which means that I will help you to get insight how you think about things so you can take actions that improve your mental and emotional well being. I will tailor our sessions to meet your unique and specific needs, giving you tools that work for you! It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you! I am looking forward to meeting you and working with you!

Hello, I am grateful you stopped by! Are you facing an acute stressor (short-term or sudden onset), seeking prevention of health-related concerns, brushing up on a relapse or maintenance plan, or just trying to figure out the next steps in your journey? I believe, working together, you can achieve the results you are seeking. Having people share their challenges with me, often during extremely vulnerable times in their life, is very humbling. You will be greeted with respect and acceptance in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I must warn you that I enjoy a good dose of humor as often as possible, though it will be reserved for appropriate times. I am a clinical social worker licensed in the states of Georgia and Florida. I have served in helping professions for more than a decade as a Secondary Teacher and Mental Health Therapist. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education specializing in science and a Master of Social Work specializing in mental health. For the last 5 years I have been providing behavioral health services to CONUS and OCONUS Active-Duty Military members, their dependents and Retirees. During a typical week I provide counseling services for Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, Increased Stress Reactions, Insomnia, Suicidality, PTSD, Life Goals, ADHD, Chronic Illnesses, Chronic Pain, Relationship issues, Grief, Compassion Fatigue, Addictions, Anger and more. My treatment approach is Client-Centered. You are unique and so are your circumstances therefore, placing your expectations and goals in the center of treatment is the way to go. We will utilize your strengths to create and master measurable goals that are the stepping-stones to your desired outcome. You will likely uncover strengths you had forgotten about or simply have not tapped into! Therapy should always have a desired outcome, measurable goals and be guided by evidenced-based therapies. Some people are looking for long-term psychotherapy and others are looking for short-term Solution-Focused treatment with quickly achievable goals or elimination of symptoms. During our time together we will explore which evidenced-based methods you prefer. Since 2013, I have concentrated on providing mental health services to adults though I sometimes work with teenagers and children. I have been privileged to work and serve with a myriad of leading professionals spanning across multiple disciplines in the Medical and Mental Health fields as well as CONUS and OCONUS Military Installations. These experiences have challenged me and led me to acquiring expertise in many areas to better serve my clients. I look forward to assisting you on this journey to a healthier and happier you!
