I have a Bachelor's of Science from Charleston Southern University and a Master's of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of South Carolina with nearly 20 years of experience working with primarily adolescents and adults with various life challenges. While most of my experience is working with depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, self-esteem, stress and anger management, I also have experience with various other life issues. I have a no nonsense approach to counseling meaning that my job is not to fix you but rather to help give you the tools to fix yourself. I believe everyone has the power to improve their situation with the right guidance and motivation. I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy as well as motivational interviewing, DBT, and solution focused techniques because I don't believe there is such a thing as a cookie cutter approach to fit a cookie cutter client.
