About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 20 years of experience. I have counseled in community mental health settings, substance abuse treatment, in-patient and out-patient medical setting, alternative education, and in public schools. My clinical work ranges across all stages of development as I have served clients throughout the lifespan on a wide variety of behavioral health issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, parenting issues, self esteem, anger management, career and goal setting, LGBTQ issues, and improved communication and relationship skill building.

I earned my Masters and Specialist degrees in Mental Health from the University of Florida, and I have maintained both a License in Mental Health and a Certification in School Counseling since 2005. My counseling approach is very Client-Centered, as I firmly believe the client knows their journey best. I utilize perspectives from Humanistic Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and techniques from Solution Focused Counseling to help guide clients in need of support, direction, clarification of goals, and improved wellness. I have genuine empathy and compassion for others and I know of no greater privilege than to assist those choosing to invest in their healing and self improvement.

I believe our strengths, limitations, and experiences, inform our journey, but they do not have to define our path. We can all learn, grow, adapt, and transform in ways that bring improved peace, joy, success, and wellbeing into our lives. Making time for therapy is one of the best forms of self-care you can provide yourself. I would be honored to support you on your path to achieving your personal growth goals.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tiffany Arcaro. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Tiffany is an incredible therapist. So much of my background is so toxic and traumatic but she helps me find tangible ways to heal as well as finding ways to heal at my own pace while still facing the struggles of the present and not letting it overshadow the good in what is there. It is hard for me to open up to new people, but when I first met her I knew she would be someone I could be comfortable being vulnerable with.

Tiffany is wonderful, I’ve had not the best experiences with therapy and always was worried about it but ever since I began my sessions with her she’s completely changed my mind and helps me tremendously. I couldn’t ask for a better therapist and I trust her expertise and knowledge when helping me with things I struggle with, she’s wonderful.
