About me

Hello,

I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have thousands of hours of experience in counseling and coaching, and I promote a solution-focused relational philosophy. I do not believe one size fits all. I see each person as a unique individual with their own unique strengths and challenges. I seek to help foster a welcoming and accepting environment in which we can explore cognitive-behavioral change which will lead to improvements in your life experience.

I have worked with many populations - couples, families, adults, teens, groups. I spent my early years working with Combat Veterans and their families, and I have extensive experience working with anxiety. I have successfully helped many people navigate difficult relationships (both family and professional) and assisted couples in resolving challenges so they can move forward with rewarding relationships.

My doctoral dissertation focused on resilience and health in predicting outcomes for people facing struggles. In our world today we face many challenges, but we all have natural strengths which can be accentuated. Discovering these hidden strengths within ourselves is fruitful work, and I have a great deal of experience in assisting this process.

If I had to distill my approach down to one sentence, it would be to help people understand they are not alone and that they have more resilience than they are consciously aware. We can discover together and help you move to a happier, healthier and much more successful life.
