You’ve already taken the first and hardest step just by considering therapy, and I want to help make your journey as safe and powerful as possible. I am an independent clinical social worker living in South Carolina, a military combat veteran, and a full time social worker with our school system. I have experience working with people from all walks of life. I promise to work with you without judgement and full of support and hope. My therapeutic approach is motivational, solution-focused, and always client-centered.
Here is a video introduction I created, and where I am sitting in the video is where I'll typically be during our live sessions: https://youtu.be/xBR4OKcQp3c
Since BetterHelp is not my full time job, my availability is typically only in the evenings with a few time slots per week. If you need a therapist with flexibility in scheduling, I'm probably not a good fit.
Your story matters, and it is just getting started. I look forward to working with you on the next chapter!

Very helpful and kind. Great at giving focused feedback and picking up on things I didn’t notice about myself.
