Hello, I am a psychologist licensed in New York with 15 years experience. I have worked with individuals from age 5 to 60. Additionally, I have worked as a school psychologist, a special education committee chairperson, and supervisor of behavioral specialists for individuals with autism. I have worked with patients with many different concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, adjustment disorders, and parenting issues.
I am trained in and utilize the Cognitive-Behavioral approach to therapy with my clients. Specifically, I focus on how one's thoughts influence his/her emotions and behaviors. I often describe the help I provide as "life skills", I teach the skills necessary to help one navigate successfully through his/her life. I am a genuine therapist and provide understanding and compassion to my clients while also challenging them to make the changes they have committed to in order to increase their quality of life and overall sense of well-being and happiness.
