About me
Hello. My name is Tonya Stanley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of psychotherapy experience. I earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Norfolk State University in Virginia. Shortly after, I moved to North Carolina and began my professional career. I have a wealth of experience working with military members and their families; as well as, work with children and adults dealing with trauma and abuse. I've worked with individuals diagnosed with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and PTSD. Issues addressed include domestic violence, child abuse/neglect, adjustment issues, and parenting issues. I have also worked with clients with disabilities, and provided rehabilitation counseling services.
