About me

I enjoy working with people who are in the thick of life in their careers, marriage and parenting, who feel that things are starting to feel a bit out of control. If you see that it’s affecting those you love and you know you need a plan, I can help you find new ideas other than escape to deal with things, which will ultimately make you feel better emotionally, help you get a good night’s sleep and get your relationships back on track.
I've been a licensed counseling in the state of Colorado since 1994. I'm the co-owner of the Brief Therapy Institute of Denver. Brief Therapy is about setting goals, having a collaborative relationship between the therapist and client, and a therapist who is more than a “bobble head.” This more directive approach often leads to the “side effect” of decreased number of sessions or shorter therapy time. Brief Therapy is also about skill development and practice.
I've incorporated my love for golf and my theoretical orientation into a new venture called Counseling Caddie. Brief therapy and cognitive behavioral strategies used in your personal life transfer beautifully to the course. I have a series of podcasts sharing my love of the game and the incorporation of these techniques.
Please allow me assist you in creating a vision and designing a map that helps gets you to where you would like to be in your life, career and relationships.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Tracey Ayers. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Tracey is a great listner and provides excellent feedback. She understands the issues I portray to her and is able to give me great advice and exercises to alleviate some pain points.

Tracey Ayers was amazing! She was fast to reach out once I was assigned to her, quick to get up to speed via messaging on what my primary reasons for counseling were, had me schedule an appointment, and then sent me an additional message about things to think about before our first session in regards to my primary concerns. This allowed us to make the best use of a 30 minute session; a session that went phenomenally.

After having my first 2 counselors fall through (never even had a chance to have a session with either), I almost lost hope in getting help AND BetterHelp. Tracey has restored that, and I am so grateful that I was matched with her!
