Hello and thank you for considering me as your therapist. My name is Tracey M. Boston and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomat with over 30 years experience as a psychotherapist. I am committed to the mental health and well being of my clients.
I received a Bachelor's of Science in Social Rehab Services from the University of Southern MS and a Master in Social Work with an emphasis in Mental Health from Southern University of New Orleans. In addition, I received a Ph.D. in Education Leadership from Mississippi State University.
I have extensive experience in individual, couples and group therapy. I have worked with a wide variety of ages, children, adolescents and adults. I am especially sensitive to the needs of children who experience social, emotional and behavioral issues. My treatment modalities consist of a blend of cognitive behavioral and client-centered methodologies. I also use mindfulness therapy. Additional areas of experience include: ADHD, Anger, Anxiety, Coping, Depression, Family issues, Grief/Loss, Oppositional defiant, Relationship Problems, Self-Esteem, Stress and Parenting Support.
