Hi there, my name is Tracy Augustin. Thank you for taking the time out to read this profile. I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work and have been practicing in this field for over 12 years. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and my goal as a provider is to ensure that my clients feel heard and seen, especially during challenging times. We all can benefit from a listening ear, a person with a non-bias opinion, to help quiet the negative thoughts we are sometimes faced with. Contrary to popular belief, we all have days where we feel overwhelmed, unable to navigate through life how we hope and sometimes it’s hard doing it all alone. You’re in the right place. You have taken the right steps in identifying that we all struggle with an area in our life that we want to work through, talk through , in order to move forward and create the life we so desire. In working with me, you are my number one priority. Discussions about your key contributing factors that led you to seek out assistance will help us identify stressors and together we come up with a treatment plan that will target the areas of concern and create attainable goals to help you be successful. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Talk Therapy), which is a form of treatment that helps identify unconscious sources of a specific problem that you may be facing. Each session I try to provide new skills/coping strategies that you can implement on your own outside of our meeting. Treatment is person centered; which simply means that we start where you are most comfortable and we build from that point. It’s so great to meet you and I look forward to going on this journey with you.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”. Looking forward to partnering with you and the great work we can do together.

I've only had two sessions, but I've tried therapy in the past. Tracy has been great at understanding and offering ways to shift negative situations into positive ones.
Tracy is an AMAZING counselor! She genuinely understands my concerns and responds with incredibly helpful insight, advice and resources. She has been so beneficial to my lifestyle and mental health!!
Tracy is very respectful, listening well and provides good feedback.
My first session with Tracy was the best therapy session I have ever had. I was concerned about the first session being filled with fluff and information gathering for her but me leaving feeling like the first day of a class, but that was not the case. In our first session, I was able to establish trust and comfort in a way I had not done with my previous therapists. I was also able to walk away with actionable tools to begin addressing the reasons I sought therapy, to begin with. Her approach was personable but direct. She has challenged some problematic behavior but supported with ways to address said behavior. I'm thrilled I was matched with Tracy as a therapist. I am confident that the problems I am seeking to resolve will be faced honestly and that I will grow as an individual. I cannot say how pleased I am after the first session. I have been ready to do the work necessary but now I have a therapist that can assist in the process. I would recommend this therapist to a friend or colleague.
I’ve only had one session with Tracy so far, but she was attentive and positive and it felt like we were on the same wave length and understood each other.
Ms. Augustin is very professional and attentive. She makes me feel like I have a safe place to vent and I'm not alone.
