Hi! My name is Traci and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC II) in the state of Colorado. I have been practicing therapy in a clinical setting for about 6 years. I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings including: enhanced outpatient treatment, residential treatment, youth corrections, school-based counseling, and private practice.
I am passionate about helping people reach their goals and create the most fulfilling life possible. I was most recently the treatment provider for our county’s Drug Court and DUI Court programs, as well as seeing individual clients through a non-profit counseling center. I am becoming involved in online therapy because I recognize the need to increase accessibility and affordability for many individuals.
Through a mindfulness-based approach, I create an empathetic and empowering atmosphere to facilitate the change process. In my practice, I utilize approaches and tools from several evidence based treatments including: Dialetical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. My areas of specialty are addiction/substance use concerns, trauma, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, and mood disorders.
I believe that every person has their own unique needs & we will work together to discover the most effective path for you. If this sounds interesting or you have further questions, please contact me and we can discuss if we would be a good fit together!
I graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After ski bumming for a couple years, I went to the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver for my Master’s Degree in Social Work. I secured a job in the mountains after graduation so I could follow my passion for helping people, but also adventuring outside daily.

I have worked with Tracy for a month now and has been extremely helpful! I have felt supported and that she would be there answering my messages. She gives you the right kind of feedback, and also listens. I think that’s important that the communication is balanced. I am feeling so much better now! I really appreciate all her help! :)
Tracy is really prompt and helpful. She’s very understanding and I feel very comfortable talking to her.
Tracy is a great counselor, something in between the type of psychologist that only listen and the ones talk more than the patient. Key aspects about her:
- She is sweet but at the same time realistic about your situation
- She gives you a conclusion in each session and a task to do next, what makes you feel you accomplished something each time
- The concept of self-care is an intrinsic part of her education, so she understand it at many levels and help you understanding it as well
So far my experience working with Tracy is very positive. I have been surprised with how well she has kept in touch and responded swiftly to my messages. We are in the early stages but so far messaging and live calls have been great. It's very reassuring to have a personable outlet when I am unable to attend physical sessions.
I strongly enjoy working with Tracy. She makes seeking help so much less intimidating, and actually kind of fun in a way. I truly enjoy bettering myself when I work with her, she always knows how to guide me in the right direction.
Tracy was a huge help and worked around my schedule and was extremely approachable and flexible. She helped and worked on any issues I needed help with.
Tracy is thoughtful, intelligent and super helpful. I love her counseling style and trust in her to help me deal with things that I struggle with. She’s been a huge help so far!
Tracy is incredibly helpful and seems incredibly competent in the field of mental health.
Tracy not only supports me and my feelings, but she has given me validation, which is different than just sympathizing and giving advice...sometimes a person really needs to hear that their actions and words really do matter...
