I have been in therapy for as long as I can remember and Ive never really reached to that point where I can say I am better equipped and the therapy i was getting made me confident to go out there and know I can do life by myself. When he told me about what we were going to do and not ask me "how do u want me to help you"...i knew he was going to be "the" one. He allows me to express my thoughts and say what i think and instead of criticisms...he would instead generate thinking and reflection by giving me worksheets. these actually became an integral part of my journey to self discovery. He addresses issues that i raise through facts without being dismissive or condescending. What he does is he patiently allows me to talk....until he hears me say what he needed from me which means he empowers me by making me feel im doing the work that i needed to be doing. He is generous enough to almost not take the credit and graciously give it to me. I realize to be an effective therapist...more than the experience and knowledge...the person must always have the humility to acknowledge that they are human beings who doesnt have the miracle cure to make things better...but they only have the wisdom to know how to be in someone else's shoe and realize how lucky they are to actually hold that kind of knowledge...to help individuals who wants the same things most want...to live life the best way we can. Thank you for the encouragement and warm...accepting smiles that is already a therapy in itself and thank you for giving me the nudge to do things i never thought i could.Your worksheets and the smiles are the best part:)
If you want a self actualized fulfillment journey...Mr.Tremaine will be the best choice:)
In my 2 sessions I am very satisfied. I hope to continue with counseling to reach my core issues.
