I have great pleasure working with the LGBT community. I provide a safe space for my patients to be themselves, and help people live their best quality of life. Throughout my 20+ years of being a therapist, I have worked with many who identify as LGBT. I also have a heart for working with marginalized populations and those who experience bigotry and racism.
Tricia’s motivation stems from the superior outcomes of specialized treatment for debilitating anxiety, racial trauma, and depression. She is inspired by seeing changes and resilience from her patients. Tricia thrives on her love for diversity and multiculturalism.

Dr. Rampersad has been an outstanding therapist. She listens, cares, gives amazing advice, and makes sure to check in with her patients.
Dr Rampersad is AMAZING!!!
I’m always so appreciative of Dr. Rampersad’s advice when I need help working through an issue. She messages me to check in during the week and always does at just the right time.
I worked with Dr. Rampersad for months after both my grandmother and father passed. She was incredible. She listened to anything I would say, always made me and my feelings be validated, and gave suggestions and "homework" for me to better myself, after asking if I wanted it. She made me feel extremely comfortable when talking about anything, and helped me clarify my thoughts better than I ever have been able to. I cannot say enough good about her as a person and doctor. Thank you for helping me get my life back, and restarted.
She is very friendly and kind but I don’t feel like she was truly listening to me. Week after week she’d get me confused with different patients situations, which just isn’t helpful in terms of trying to get through my issues.
Dr. Rampersad has been a pleasure to work with since the start. She quickly made me feel comfortable which put my mind at ease faster than I initially thought. She challenges my thoughts which helps uncover the root of the issue at large. Her ability to let me speak my mind, allowing me to often go on a tangent, while pausing at moments I would never think to pause at, makes conversing with her both easy and light hearted. I never feel anxious leading up to our sessions, but notice a change in my being when I don’t have the opportunity to speak with her. I initially came to her because of one topic, but Dr Rampersad has done an incredible job at refocusing our conversations back to myself, which I often have a hard time of doing. I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone, and I look forward to continuing to work with her.
I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a female therapist. She offers a place to open up without judgement as well as giving a comforting friendly environment. She has definitely helped me through my problems and getting to a better mental place.
She's so friendly and really understands where you're coming from - you don't have to try to explain yourself at all because she really gets you so well! Couldn't recommend more.
I’m glad I was parred with Dr. Rampersad. it is hard feeling a connection or understanding with a therapist sometimes. It sucks when you wait for months and end up with a Dr who is just not for you…speaking from experience. I’m sad I can not continue with her and wish she was in my network!
