Dr. Trista Carr, Psychologist
About me
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California (psy25232) who helps people who are struggling with mental health concerns, religion and spirituality concerns, crises of faith, sexual identity issues, gender identity concerns, and relational issues. I also conduct family therapy and couples counseling. I work with couples and families on communication issues, marital issues, problems with transition, and so on. My areas of specialty are in dealing with trauma, issues of sexuality, and concerns with faith. I regularly consult with physicians and psychiatrists if my clients need medication to help them deal with the problems they are experiencing.
I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
It takes courage to seek help for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step I would be honored to work with you and support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
