LIFE IS A JOURNEY AND I AM LOST!
I believe that life is a journey and that sometimes on that journey, we get lost and confused or we come up against obstacles that we have trouble getting around or we get entangled in traps and need help to get free. We can also have things happen to us that are difficult if not almost impossible to deal with alone. Then we need a guide. Someone to accompany you on the journey who can help you find your way or help you get around the obstacles or be released from the trap that has entangled you. Someone who has studied and can teach or suggest methods that you can try to get you unstuck and help you find your way back to a meaningful, fulfilling and productive life.
I would like help you find your way back to a meaningful, productive and fulfilling life. My purpose is to walk beside you, listen to your story and your concerns and then to draw from the education I have received and from what those wiser than me have taught me and my own personal life experiences on this journey to help you on your journey.
Some of the issues I specialize in are counseling for drug and alcohol addiction and the underlying causes of addiction, depression, anxiety, anger management, post traumatic stress syndrome, relationship issues, time management or any other things that are making your life journey difficult. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it gives you “tools” to use to be successful in overcoming challenges and dealing with what we encounter on our journey but I am somewhat eclectic in that I will recommend using whatever I believe will work best for you personally. (Some of the other therapies I use are Client Centered Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.) I have 12 years of experience working as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I believe that when you come to counseling, you come with the hope that you will get help, but it is also up to you to do the work required to recover. I will work with you to help you recover. I hope to hear from you soon so that I can help you on your journey.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Trudy Frye. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She is very kind and listens very well and very understanding. She is great
Patient and a good listener. Someone who I can talk to freely and not feeling judged.
After meeting with Trudy for two sessions, I immediately felt better and understood what I needed to do to keep feeling better. After our sessions and the great information about depression and anxiety she shared with me, I felt like the boulder on my shoulders was taken off and I was a better version of myself.
Trudy Frye is a truly positive force. She listens and is very informative.
In just a few short weeks I've been able to truly start turning my life around. Many other attempts at therapy failed right around this time. But I have high hopes and can't wait to continue
Within the first session I had with Trudy, she helped me tremendously. I communicated with her what it was that I needed, which was to provide solutions to my problems, not just to talk it out. She did just that. In the beginning of our sessions, she reviews what we last talked about, and anything new/solutions; but what I love the most is that she asks me what I WANT/NEED to talk about. Thank you so much Trudy.
She made be comfortable.
Trudy is a great therapist. She listens carefully to all of your concerns and responds to your messages as quickly as she can. She lets you know that she is there for you no matter what. She makes sure you know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Also helps that she is a Christian:)
Trudy is a very calm and patient therapist and I feel I am talking to a best friend sometimes. She also is very knowledgeable and sends me information that is so valuable to helping me achieve better results.
I love Trrudt a lot I love how she helps me by using her own experiences to guide my anger and my thoughts so that I don't feel alone I think that's important especially in a situation where you really don't have anyone else to open up to no support system in place. She is an amazing listener and she's extremely supportive. I appreciate that she doesn't analyze everything I say and try to find reason why I feel that way because the way I feel is the way I feel it doesn't necessarily always have to be related to a psychological disorder like some therapists tend to do. Having her has made a huge difference in my life as of the last few months I'm not sure how I would've made it through not having her around to vent to and talk to.
She is kind yet doesn't sugar coat, which is exactly what I need. She understands many mental illnesses and has helped me see things I haven't before. I appreciate her perspective and words.
Trudy is everything you want in a therapist. Top-notch! Great listener and very helpful!
Trudy has been simply amazing. She is flexible with my busy work schedule and is an exceptional listener. She brings years of experience and has helped me tremendously through my past trauma’s and PTSD.
I have had the best experience with Trudy. She has helped me a lot and very easy to talk to.
she is literally the best
Ms Frye is a personable and sincere person; just what I needed in a therapist. Her words speak truth through experience, and have made a positive impact in the short time that I have known her.
Trudy has been so helpful and encouraging! She listens and asks the right questions to get me to really think about the actual issues I’m dealing with. I would recommend her and this program to everyone and I have been!
Trudy is very friendly and empathetic with what I am going through. It is very comforting to talk to her.
Trudy is amazing! She listens and recalls everything we’ve talked about in previous sessions, and is incredibly supportive and responsive. Trudy understands me and makes things easy to relate to. I truly enjoy our time together.
