I am Tyrone Frazier, MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPHA. I have been a Licensed Therapist for over 19-years. I am licensed in Michigan and Illinois. I was awarded an Bachelor of Science in Police Administration (BSPA) from the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky in 1983. I received a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota in 2003. I am also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling degree with an expected graduation of 2025. In addition, I was awarded both an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Religion and Honorary Doctor of Divinity (DD) degrees. I live in Metro Detroit along with my wife. My wife and I are former long term residents of the southside of Chicago.
I have focused my entire career on goals and objectives which center on making positive and lasting differences in the lives of consumers. Over the years I have worked with clients with a variety of issues. I always work to meet clients where they are at and to go forward in therapy treatment.
I try to always provide a safe and secure welcoming place for dialogue and change to occur. I provide counseling and therapy to access, diagnose, treat; and prevent mental illness and other issues, as well as emotional and behavioral disturbances. An important part of my job is to always advocate for the best interest of the clients I serve. I can see clients with many different types of issues. I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
