About me

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University and I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling ( anticipated completion date Dec 2022).
I have over 15 years of working in crisis intervention and providing Trauma-Informed services in domestic/partner violence, mental health, infectious disease, and substance abuse disorders. I have over ten years of experience managing, developing, and implementing several grants funded high risk and substance abuse specialized programs in the criminal justice system. I have presented several counseling techniques, facilitated professional development and educational training, and co-authored I’m Fine: A Woman’s Silent Cry.
I would like to help you get clear about your identity, identify the root cause of your pain and fears and acknowledge beliefs & behaviors that are not beneficial to the lifestyle you have envisioned for your future.
