I would be honored to be that person. I have 20 years of experience helping people just like you.

As my client, you will be 100% accepted for who you are. I will ensure your concerns are heard and fully understood. I will use my experience and expertise to help you identify the real issues. We will collaborate on a plan of action and I will do everything in my power to help ensure your success. My approach is pragmatic and holistic: I use practices that are rooted in sound clinical research.
But, just as important, you can learn to connect with the best, most powerful guide out there: yourself. I believe you have the solutions you need: it just takes a guide to help you tune into that voice.

I use approaches rooted in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness. However, the counseling you receive will be tailored to your unique personality, lifestyle and concerns. You can be confident that with the tools and insights you receive you will start to feel better fast!

Valerie is a sweet counselor and is sympathetic. I feel comfortable telling her everything and not feel judged. She also responds in a timely manner and offers a live session every week.

Valerie doesn't maintain a strict formal counsellor persona, which makes it easier for me to open up knowing a little about her as well. It allows me to feel like this isn't just a session but almost a guardian angel that sees you better than you sometimes see yourself. I would recommend her absolutely.
