About Me

“If it doesn’t challenge us, it doesn’t change us.”

Hello! You are here for a reason. You felt the pull to reach out for support, I honor you. My jam is to be able to help people feel seen, heard and safe. With that being said, I will create a safe container for you to feel completely supported. Here is a little about me and how I plan to support you:

I have a master’s degree in Counseling from The University of South Dakota (2014) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Dakota.
I feel strongly about helping people who don’t have a voice, and I have a passion for helping others find their inner truth and purpose.

The feedback I receive from clients is that they find me to be open, direct and nonjudgmental, with them. I will be walking beside you through the difficulties you are facing that come up. I will be the support to help you learn more about yourself, your inner child, and how that affects you, your response and your perception of the outer world.

I am open to interacting with you in whatever manner you are most comfortable. I find it helpful to participate in video sessions, and I am also available to you via phone and text if that is more comfortable for you.

I would be honored to work with you during this timeline of your life.

Vanessa is very compassionate and encouraging. She provides great prompts for consideratiin and journalling and tunes into the concerns and struggles I'm facing with helpful insights and points for further reflection. Thanks, Vanessa!

I feel comfortable talking with her, which is unique for me, she is a good listener and I like her holistic approach to therapy.

The first couple of meetings i have had with Vanessa have been real great. She has helped me already start shaping my thoughts and anxiety in a more manageable way. I plan to continue using this site, and working with Vanessa to help control and better my thoughts, feeling and life in a way I know will be successful.
