Hello, I am Vanessa! I have my bachelor of science in Pre-Professional Psychology and master's of science in Human Services Counseling degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Recently I have focused my practice in helping PERINATAL MOOD AND ANXIETY DISORDERS. This means that from trying to CONCEIVE, PREGNANCY, BIRTH, and POSTPARTUM or LOSS during this time, I help individuals trying to navigate through this stage of life.
Previously. I have worked helping college students with career counseling, a community mental health center with clients with severe mental illness, trauma, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring disorders, as well as life coaching.
I have training from the Alaska Advanced Trauma Institute, Gottman Couples Therapy (Level One), and Gottman Bringing Baby Home. I have extensive post graduate training in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International and 2020 Mom Project. I come from a Christian conservative viewpoint and hope this is helpful for the journey we embark on toward wholeness and health!
